1991

Forever exploring those sweet spots between the sounds; thriving in the exciting, unchartered sonic playground where musicality and momentum touch your soul… This is the vision and mission of Drum & Bass artist 1991.

It’s down to a delicate alchemy; A vibrant fusion of hooky melodics, heady emotions and high impact production, 1991’s contemporary signature has taken him around the world, attracted over a million monthly listeners on Spotify, scored multiple Hottest Record titles on Radio 1 and led to remixes of stadium-filling electronic acts such as Supermode, Axwell and Basement Jaxx.

Now comes the essential level-up: Building on universal anthems such as ‘Full Send’, ‘Chant’ and 2022’s boundary-blurring, tempo-melting critically-acclaimed debut album ‘Odyssey’, London-based 1991 is currently more inspired than ever. Humbled and hugely motivated by the ever-growing crowds of passionate, engaged D&B fans he plays to every week, he’s at the forefront of one of the genre’s most exciting chapters to date. From extensive tours of North America, Asia and Australia and New Zealand to performances at iconic coveted events and venues such as EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Let It Roll, Drumsheds and Wembley Arena, his years of performances have fine-tuned his unique banger-craft to precision.

Finding that perfect balance between freshness and familiarity, it’s a dialogue with the dancefloor that gets louder with every release. New singles such as ‘Horizon’ (with Poppy Baskcomb) hint at what’s to come next as 1991 hits his stride as one of the most prominent new-generation D&B headliners to have emerged in recent years. Joining the family at Polydor / Chaos, the scene is now set for the most ambitious creations and manoeuvres of his career so far. His vision has never been stronger; 1991’s story continues…
